She resided after 1962 at Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska; For awhile Walter and Marie lived in North Platte, Nebraska, and later in Columbus, Nebraska. She died in April 1999.¹ A story related by Jeff Nielsen, a great nephew, relates how Walter and Marie went to Minnesota one time and purchased some land at night. In the daytime when they saw what they had purchased they found it to be rocky and not good ground.

     Peter Seberger was born on 14 January 1870 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. He married Anna Alt, daughter of Karl Franz Alt and Cacilia Turk, on 14 January 1896 at St. Joseph's Church, Bellwood, Nebraska.¹ Peter Seberger died on 22 February 1963 at Shelby, Nebraska, at age 93; Died from a heart attack shoveling snow. He was buried after 22 February 1963 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Shelby, Nebraska.

     Edward D Mayberger was born on 18 August 1866.^1,2,3,4 He married Frances Alt, daughter of Frank Alt and Cacilia Turk, on 25 November 1902 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood, Nebraska; Rev. John J. Hoffman officiated.^5,6,7 Edward D Mayberger died on 18 September 1941 at 1815 9 St, Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska, at age 75; he died due to complications from a brain concussion suffered in an auto accident on 6 July, 1941.^2,8,4 He was buried at St Bonaventure Cemetery, Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska; he is buried in Row 36, Section 6 of this cemetery.⁹

     Aurelia Alt was born on 21 September 1890 at Rising City, Nebraska.¹ She was educated circa 1908 at District #20 Bluffton School. She married Oswald E. Bernt Sr. on 28 November 1916 at Sacred Heart Church, Shelby, Nebraska; Rev. A. Wagner married them.² Aurelia Alt died on 3 October 1932 at Polk County, Nebraska, at age 42.¹ She was buried after 3 October 1932 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Shelby, Nebraska.²

     John Carl Alt was born on 13 January 1891 at On a farm north of Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska.² He was a farmer circa 1917.³ He married Clara Theresa Bernt on 30 April 1917 at St. Andrew's Church, north of Osceola, Nebraska.² John Carl Alt died on 23 January 1946 at Shelby, Nebraska, at age 55.⁴ He was buried after 23 January 1946 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Shelby, Nebraska.⁴
