     Helena Matilda Louise Troh was born on 7 November 1875 at Stettin.1 She emigrated in 1881 from Stettin; She and her parents took passage to San Antonio, Texas. Becoming homesick, the family returned to Germany. In a short time, they came again to America, this time making their home in Kansas City, MO. until April, 1887, when they relocated to Central City.2 She and John Coakley Reeves moved to a farm 8 mile SW, Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska, in February 1898,the 35 mile move was made in an open wagon, on an extremely cold winter day, and Helena was pregnant with her first child. A new born calf, sheltered from the weather in one of the wagons, perished on the journey.3 Helena Matilda Louise Troh married John Coakley Reeves, son of John Reeves and Margaret White Lee, on 27 April 1898 at Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska.4,5,1,6 Helena Matilda Louise Troh resided after 27 April 1898 at Nance County, Nebraska.2 She died on 6 October 1940 at Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska, at age 64; Date of death in 1981 Merrick County History shows 8 Oct 1940.7,1 She was buried after 6 October 1940 at North Cemetery, Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska.1

     Anna Philomena Mcmahon was born on 30 April 1886 at Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska.2 She married Grover Clevland Reeves, son of John Reeves and Margaret White Lee, on 27 October 1909 at Central City, Merrrick County, Nebraska; Witnesses to this marriage were James McMahon and Marie McMahon.3,4,5,6 Anna Philomena Mcmahon resided after 27 October 1909 at farm southwest of town, Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska.1 She was buried in 1974 at Central City Cemetery, Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska; Her funeral services were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. The Rev. Kenneth Karl officiated. Visitation hours were to be from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, at Solt and Byers Funeral Home. A Rosary was to be recited at 8 p.m.1 She died in 1974 at Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska; Anna's sister Marie McMahon of Kearney is mentioned as one of her survivors. I believe it was this sister that my mother was named after.1

Morrison, bond-James Morrison-15 Dec 1851.1,4 Rachel Harriet Morrison and John Reeves were land transactors in the Taylor County KY, Deed Book 3, page 548. Indenture made 9 April 1858 by John and Rachel Reeves to John Wood for 90 3/4 acres on Little Brush Creek for sum of $350.00. Following the deed, Catherine Reeves signed a statement relinquishing all the interest in the dower of this piece of land on 9 April 1858. Rachel Harriet Morrison died on 4 August 1860 at Taylor County, Kentucky, at age 34.3,5 She was buried after 4 August 1860 at Morrison Cemetery, 1 mile N of Mac, Taylor County, Kentucky; Taylor County Hist. Society Quarterly, Fall 1982, page 20-Reeves Cemetery: On highway 210, past Social Band Road, turn off on former Harland Wright farm, also former Reeves farm. Recorded by Roger Corbin, Rosa M.
