     James Robert Danley was born on 8 October 1906 at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.2 He graduated on 4 June 1930 from Creighton University Law School, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.1 He was baptised and confirmed in April 1941 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, as a Catholic convert.1 He married Loretta Cecilia Rupprecht, daughter of Robert James Rupprecht and Katherine Josephine Liebig, on 11 June 1941 at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.3,1,4 James Robert Danley started work for the Union Pacific Railroad Company between 1942 and 1963 at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, and was an official there at the time of his death.1 He began military service on 28 April 1942 at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, and served three years; He went of Kansas City, Missouri for a short period and then to Fort Knox, Kentucky. Next, he was sent to New Orleans, Louisiana to candidate school and then to Camp Reynolds in Pittsburg, California. He was then sent to New Jersey where he was shipped out to New Delhi, India; he spent two years there.1 He ended military service on 20 October 1945 at Fort Smelling, Minnesota.1 He and Loretta Cecilia Rupprecht moved to Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, in 1952.1 James Robert Danley died on 10 January 1963 at St. Francis Hospital, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, at age 56 from multiple myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow).5,3,2,1 He was buried on 12 January 1966 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.1,6,7
